Natives of Nice, France, co-owners and brothers Jerome and Stephane Meloni have more than 29 years of combined experience in the restaurant and food service industries. Before opening Castagna, they previously owned and operated Restaurant Cassis, a 3,300 square-foot French bistro in San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighborhood. Before that, they ran two family-owned restaurants in Antibes, France.
